Outcome 5: Revision

Students will be able to negotiate differences in and act with intention on feedback from readers when drafting, revising, and editing their writing.

Why and how do they fit the criteria (criteria of outcome)? Be as specific as possible here.

• For this outcome, I chose the Peer Review for Project 1 and the Peer review for Project 2. I think these assignments fit best for this outcome because they both really helped me when it comes down to revising my own work. The peer review for project 1 helped me by gathering feedback from my peers on how well I did on my annotated bibliography, which was the start of project 2. Making adjustments to project 1 not only helped me with my revising but also helped me to create a solid project 2 which was the actual research paper itself using information from the annotated bib. The peer review for project 2 helped me to revise my writing to make my paper more sound on the topics I was writing about as well as to add more direct quotes.

• For outcome 5, I feel that these assignments are most significant to this outcome because they not only helped me develop better writing skills to better my own writings but also to help my peers with their own writing skills as well.
